Anthony Lapke
KEA President
Anthony Lapke is a mathematics teacher with 27 years of classroom experience, serving as the Mathematics Department Instructional Leader at Glacier High School and a Director with the K.E.E.P program. Anthony looks forward to serving KEA as President and the Montana Federation of Public Employees Governing Board as District 1 Chair. Anthony believes showing your work is a good rule to live by, and not just in the math classroom.
Lori Adkins
KEA 1st Vice President (Elementary)
Lori Adkins comes from a long line of teachers (father, sister, aunt, grandmother). She has been a union member and an elementary teacher for 34 years. Throughout her career, she has taught 4th grade, 5th grade and 6th grade. She has served on various committees and boards throughout her time at KPS (Calendar Committee, PIR Committee, multiple Curriculum Committees, SOS Committee, etc.) as well as participating on the KEA negotiating team for numerous negotiating cycles. She believes it is extremely important for all EK-12 teachers to have a voice at the bargaining table and on the committees that guide our district. She hopes to bring the elementary perspective to the VP position!
Adam Harbaugh
KEA 2nd Vice President (Secondary)
Adam Harbaugh is a Language and Culture teacher with 20 years of experience teaching Spanish, French, and Anthropology at both the high school and college levels. He currently serves as the Instructional Leader of the International Language Department at Glacier High School. When school's not in session, he's usually traveling somwhere internationally. A union member since day one in public education, Adam looks forward to serving as KEA's 2nd Vice President for the high schools orking to make sure members know that we are stronger together!
Liz Sykora
KEA Secretary
Liz Sykora is a CTE Theatre Stagecraft / English Teacher at Flathead High School, where she began in 2012. She is active in both union and district affairs, also serving as the Vice Chair of the KPS Insurance Committee. She is a passionate crossword aficionado and thinks London Fog Lattes can make any meeting better!
Dani Burtsfield
KEA Treasurer
Dani Burtsfield is a Kindergarten teacher at Hedges School, completing her 19th year in education. She is passionate about early literacy instruction and helping young learners discover the joy and confidence that come with learning to read. As KEA treasurer, Dani appreciates a balanced checkbook almost as much as a perfectly organized spreadsheet.
